It is vital to understand that financial fortune is our package in redemption. It is not an ambition but our inheritance; it was fully paid for and allocated. As it is written: …he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9; Revelation 5:12). However, we need an understanding of how to access and take delivery of this awesome heritage. The Word says: …my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst (Isaiah 5:13; see also Proverbs 21:16; Psalm 119:130). So, understanding is the key to a world of outstanding experience in the kingdom.
To gain access to financial fortune, you need a genuine heart for God. For instance, Solomon loved the Lord, and as such, God gave him more than he requested for, and that brought him into financial fortune (1 Kings 3:3-5, 13; 1 Corinthians 2:9). So, the core mystery behind access to financial fortune is an unchecked heart for God. However, faith is required to experience the performance of any word from the Lord. As it is written: … Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper (2 Chronicles 20:20; Luke 1:45; Matthew 10:41). Life is an adventure of challenges, but it is also a platform for the rise of giants. So, our understanding of access to this awesome heritage is our only guarantee to experiencing it.
To get into this subject, let us understand what a mystery is. According to the Scripture, a mystery is a hidden kingdom treasure, and is only accessible by the redeemed. As it is written: …but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables (Mark 4:11). It is also defined as divine secrets embedded within the pages of the Scripture (Isaiah 55:8-11). God’s ways are beyond our capacity to appraise, so stop expressing your opinion when God speaks because you have no capacity for it. A mystery may not make sense to the natural mind, but it never lacks proofs (John 10:37-38). Just like the real wealth of the earth is found in the deep, kingdom wealth is domiciled in our access to the deep things of God. As it is written: Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field (Matthew 13:44; Isaiah 45:1-3; 1 Corinthians 2:7-10). Real wealth in the kingdom is hidden in the pages of the Scripture, and access to it requires a sincere heart for God (Proverbs 23:26; 1 Corinthians 13:3).
Therefore, genuine love for God and the interest of His kingdom is the mystery behind financial fortune in the kingdom. Please note that financial fortune heritage is not a promise but a covenant. The Word says: But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day (Deuteronomy 8:18; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8). According to Genesis 8:22, the covenant of seed time and harvest is the covenant of giving and receiving, and that is the platform for the supernatural supplies of our needs, which is financial fortune (Philippians 4:15-19).
The world is facing a global economic crisis, and from all prophetic scriptures, this is just the beginning. So, it is time to take cover in the covenant so as not to become a victim of these hot times (Matthew 24:7-8; Malachi 3:17-18, 4:1). Serving God with our God-given resources is the covenant cover we need to be exempted.
