Wisdom Kits for Profitable Living

As we prepare for Shiloh 2024, it is imperative to have a foretaste of what ever-winning wisdom is all about. I have developed a few wisdom kits, not keys, that will give us access to our established inheritance in Christ.

According to the Scripture, we have a God-ordained heritage of success in redemption. As it is written: Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid (Matthew 5:13-14). However, to gain access to this inherence, we need to take responsibility.

Please note that God’s wisdom comes down principally by instructions; instruction is 75 percent of divine wisdom. As it is written: And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:15-16; see also Proverbs 9:9). There are four elements in the above scripture, doctrines are principles and the remaining mean instruction.

What are the Wisdom Kits to Successfully Living?

  • Define Your Vision. Define or discover what you are out to succeed at (Ecclesiastes 10:5-9). Define your field of play. For instance, if you are a farmer, define what you are out to farm, and if you are a trader, define what you are out to trade.
  • Learn the Know-How. You already know what you want to succeed at, but you need to know how to realise it(Ecclesiastes 10:15). What you don’t know, you don’t know; what you will not learn, you cannot know, and what you don’t know, you pay for it. You need to learn how to go about your mission (Proverbs 24:2-5).
  • Discipline. Having known what and how to go about your vision, you need to discipline yourself (Ecclesiastes 10:16-17). You operate as demanded, not as convenient to deliver (1 Corinthians 6:12, 10:23). Discipline your taste, time, how you spend, what you spend on and what you wear because it is work before pleasure (Proverbs 24:27).
  • Diligence. The only substitute for hard work is a hard life. Jesus said: My Father worketh hitherto, and I work (John 5:17; John 9:4). So, the anointing is not a substitute, and revelation is also not; Jesus is the living word, yet He worked. Nothing works without someone at work (James 2:18; Proverbs 22:29).
  • Sacrifice. This is the master key to the uttermost height in your pursuit. Global impact in any field demands sacrifice (Luke 12:49-50). Those who shook their world paid the price of sacrifice. Every world changer was a living sacrifice in the pursuit of his/her assignment. There is no star without a scar, and the scar of every star is sacrifice.
