Engaging the Turnaround Power of Faith

Every miracle answers to faith; where faith is absent, miracles are nonexistent. Miracles are delivered according to the faith of individuals. When you are prayed over, without your faith, you cannot see a miracle. Jesus was out in Nazareth and could not do mighty works because of their unbelief (Mark 6:6). So, faith is a must for anyone to experience victory, breakthroughs, exploits, etc., in life.

Life is not a playground; life is a battlefield, and faith is the only guarantee of victory for the believer. As it is written: For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh (2 Corinthians 10:3), also:  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12; see also 1 John 5:4). When your faith fails, you lose the battle gallantly. You cannot stop the devil from having his way without faith (1 Peter 5:9; Ephesians 6:16). So, stop begging issues; take responsibility (Jude 1:20; 2 Thessalonians 1:3). According to the Scriptures, the fight of faith is the only good fight because your victory is guaranteed. As it is written: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12). Please understand that you are called into a fight, whether you are ready or not, the other side is ever ready, and he is fighting you.

Faith is the greatest threat to the enemy (Luke 22:31-32), and the devil is after our faith because when we are faithless, we become natural victims of the wickedness of the wicked. Faith is the ultimate weapon in winning the battles of life (Ephesians 6:16). Therefore, it is wisdom to live ready because we are already at the war front, and the time to get ready may not be there. The battles of life have no timetable, so it is better to live ready. It is not unspiritual to be challenged, but it is unscriptural to be defeated. It is time to prepare for the victory you look forward to seeing.

What is Faith?

  • It is a living force drawn from the Living Word to produce living proofs. Faith is about life and triumphant living. As it is written:  but the just shall live by his faith (Habakkuk 2:4). Please note that 99.9 per cent of the battles of life have only spiritual solutions. For instance, is there any scientific solution to generational curses? Which specialist can terminate hereditary disease? So, those who depend on their resources for triumph are limited. Until you find a place of faith, you have not found a place of rest (Hebrews 4:3). The place of faith is the place of triumphant rest.
  • It is sharing responsibility with God in the light of the scriptures to have your desires delivered. Any faith that seeks to make God absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life is irresponsible faith. For instance, you cannot be praying for peace in your family if you don’t love your wife as Christ loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25). So, learn and commit to the way of peace, and you have committed God to give you peace (Isaiah 59:8).

How Powerful is Faith?

  • It is a spiritual medium that engrafts us into divinity, thereby empowering us to command the impossible. When faith comes alive, be engraftment conscious. When we were two months to the time God said the Faith Tabernacle would be dedicated, we had not completed the roof, so I went to Him, and He said, “It took Me six days to create the world and the fullness thereof; I will not need two months to finish an ordinary building,” and He did. When faith comes alive, divine virtue flows to make the impossible happen. You cannot be engrafted and be stranded.
  • It secures the fulfilment of prophecies. No prophecy will see the light of the day without faith. We have the supreme prophecy, which is the prophecy of the Scripture; it is unadulterated, and it is from the mouth of God. So, your faith level determines how much prophetic scriptures come to pass in your life. As it is written: And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord (Luke 1:45). So, it is faith that stirs performance from the Lord.

Therefore, keep your faith alive by engaging the altar of prayer and fasting for the outbreak of light (2 Corinthians 4:4; Matthew 17:21; Isaiah 56:6-8). When light breaks forth, faith comes alive. Most importantly, keep your hope alive to keep your faith going (Hebrews 11:1). When hope dies, faith becomes impotent. Humorously, hope is the wife of faith that delivers the victory you are looking for. No strong man can deliver a baby without a woman. So, no strong faith can deliver anything without hope (Ecclesiastes 9:4; 1 Peter 1:3).
